The Electric Energy Industrial Consortium (EEIC) at the Department of Electrical Engineering is a collaborative program between industry and the University of Washington. EEIC members provide financial support for high quality undergraduate education in the field of electric energy.
Consortium activities include:
- Providing undergraduate scholarships
- Providing student achievement awards
- Supporting undergraduate laboratory development
- Supporting electric energy seminars
- Advising on curriculum enhancement
- Encouraging undergraduate research
- Coordinating internships and post-graduation employment of EE students
