Alumnus David Burnett Receives NDSEG Fellowship
Alumnus David Burnett has been awarded the 2012 National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship. Burnett received his BSEE and MSEE from the department in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He will attend University of California, Berkeley this fall to pursue his PhD with Dr. Kris Pister.
The Department of Defense awards approximately 200 new three-year graduate fellowships a year. These fellowships are granted as a means to increase "the number of U.S. citizens and nationals trained in science and engineering disciplines of military importance."
Congratulations David, we're proud of you!
