Computing Resource Usage Guidelines
The following guidelines apply to the proper use of the computing resources available here at the Department of Electrical Engineering. The locations of the EE Computing Labs are listed online.
More information specific to the use of the Linux lab is available.
Windows Computing Labs
EE1 361 and 371 are the Windows general purpose student computing labs. All of the EE applications are available in these computing labs.
Help keep the computing labs useful and productive.
- EE coursework computing always has priority
- Distractions (noise and clutter) must be kept to a minimum
- Research is not permitted using academic-licensed software (e.g. MATLAB)
If someone creates a disturbance that impacts your work, please bring it to their attention, and notify help@ee.
If you have any questions regarding the use of EE computer equipment, please don't hesitate to send a message to the EE Computing Helpdesk.
