UW EE Ranked #19 by U.S. News & World Report
UW Electrical Engineering is ranked #19 in U.S. News & World Report’s recent listing of the best graduate schools for 2017. Congratulations to UW EE’s faculty, students and staff who make the department a place of excellence and increased collaboration!
Every year, graduate programs are ranked by U.S. News & World Report using both qualitative and quantitative data. For the recent engineering program rankings, a total of 215 engineering schools were surveyed, all of which offer Ph.D. programs. Data was collected in both the fall of 2015 and early 2016. Engineering school deans, deans of graduate studies at engineering schools and corporate recruiters were asked to rate programs. Other factors that were considered include mean GRE quantitative scores, acceptance rates, student to faculty ratio, doctoral degrees awarded and research expenditures.
Kudos also to UW Computer Science & Engineering, which is ranked #7!
